For sale is a like new Pentax-a 50mm 1.7. 85USD-->75USD-->70 plus shipping.
Note that I am also selling a Pentax-m 100mm 2.8 (non macro) in the marketplace. If you are interested for both, you'll save on shipping and probably a little more!

I love the lens, but I have financial obligation that I have to meet (a new born, broken car, university... you know)

This is a A series lens, meaning that you will be able to use all the camera modes on your Pentax DSLR (automatic, semi-automatic and manual mode). Also, the lens would work very well with a P-TLL flash, with auto exposure (as opposed to a m series lens, please correct me if I am wrong!).
This is a manual focus lens.

Perfect for portrait, casual indoor pictures, concerts and all low light event. The very fast aperture will allow you to blur the background quite nicely.

Cosmetically, the lens is near perfect. No scratch, aperture blades are snappy and oil free, the A setting works perfectly... really, a lens in really nice condition! In order to avoid developing problems with the aperture ring, I would suggest to keep it in the A position (I don't really see why someone would want to change that anyway...)

Someone could correct me on this, but I believe this lens has the same optics as the Pentax-FA 50mm 1.7, which is a very well regarded lens. It is said to be sharper than the Pentax-FA 50mm 1.4 at 1.7.

That being said, the lens ships with original Pentax front cap, a generic rear cap and a Vivitar Skylight [A] filter (not pictured)
