Item Description
I am considering trading my Voigtländer APO Lanthar Macro SL 125mm f2.5 to a Kiron/Vivitar/Lester Dine 105mm macro plus a heap of cash. Additional quality lenses can be thrown into an offer to reduce the price difference.

I am the original owner of this lens and it has been very gently used: it is in mint condition. There is absolutely no fungus or scratches on the glass and it is in perfect condition also externally. Aperture and focus both work like a dream. I have the original box, papers, hood and caps. I might even have the original receipt from Cameraquest somewhere.

However, things like what Klaus is saying in his third message in this thread make me very hesitant to sell this lens:

That said,a combination of one of the macro lenses mentioned above, plus the Pentax K 28mm f2.0, plus cash might interest me enough.

I may well decide not to sell after all so please don't get your hopes too high. I am quite aware of the fact that I may well never get a chance to buy one back (or at least the price will be even higher), should I let this one go. So I am extremely hesitant.

DarkMist: everything is possible, if I decide to go forward with this. In any case I would like to explore the trade potential first.

To add to the list of potentially interesting lenses for trading: 77mm and 43mm Limiteds, the 'Bokina' Macro, the Panagor PMC Macro 90mm and Pentax A* 300mm f4.0. Others of similar ilk may also be interesting.

Oop! Terribly sorry, I had confused this macro with the zeiss 100mm macro! I edited my previous post.

For those interested, the value of the lens was 2500 USD. This is IMO in line with the prices that copies of the lens seem to go for nowadays (i.e. 2000-3000 USD), although these are mostly Nikon and Canon versions as the K-mount versions are not as common. The trade involved a Pentax A* 300mm f4.0, a Pentax 31mm f1.8 Limited and a Kiron 105mm f2.8 1:1 Macro plus cash.
