Tamron SP90 macro, Sears 50/1.4 and a few others

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
DA35/2.4, SP90 macro, Sears 50/1.4 and a few others

Asking Price
range $30-$330us

Item Location
Oregon (United States)

Item Description
Our cat needed some serious medical attention - then sadly, she needed to be sent forward to a better place.
That's about a $grand that wasn't in the plans - so the camera fund must do its part.

Add $5 standard or $12 Priority mail in the USA. I will consider sending elsewhere after we agree on shipping fees.

Willing to consider trades to acquire a DA40/2.8. Thanks.

Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 macro - $330

This is the gold band model, not the blue-stripe Di. No difference but the coatings I believe, but I am not certain. My best lens ever, but not a commonly-used item; I will find an SMC-M macro and manage. It's in excellent condition but does not have its hood.

Pentax DA 35mm f/2.4 AL - Traded!
The new classic, and currently a hard lens to find it seems. Includes a screw-on metal shade, so it looks more like a Limited..

Sears 50mm f/1.4 - $60

I believe this is a Rikenon XR model, it looks exactly like an image I saw of that lens. Takes beautiful images, but closeup shots need a live-view camera as it does front focus based on the AF LED. The lens has no pins or contacts, strictly manual - and it has 8 aperture blades.
Swapping for a 40 Limited would replace both the 35 and 50!

Pentax SMC-M 135mm f/3.5 - $45

A classic compact tele. My copy is optically EX but the lens shade has a dent; it does not affect performance but looks lopsided. It's visible next to "OPT. CO" in the shot below. Might get more relaxed smiles from your subjects, if you like long portrait lenses

Promaster 100-300 f/5.6-6.7 - $30

Bought from KEH a few months back, just before snagging a DA 55-300. It takes occasional good images - but like we used to expect from such lenses it gets softer at the long end & focus can hunt. But hey, that's why it's a $30 lens.

Weekend bump. The DA35 is gone, others are still available. I may cash in some savings bonds and pull these off the market - the Tamron 90 is the best lens I'll own for a while & I hate to part with it after just 2 months. And I won't find a 50/1.4 like this for the same price either. Buy soon before they're gone .. or stay!

I expected some interest on a few of these but received zero, and find that I have enough savings bonds to cover the vet bills. I will be shutting this down & marking this as completed.
