[SOLD] FS: Promaster 100-300mm f/5-6.3

This is a surprisingly good autofocus zoom lens with very decent build quality. I think it is a rebadged Tokina. It has seen hardly any use since I bought it new a few months ago, and is still in perfect condition. It comes with original caps, hood, and box.

$60 shipped within the USA, slightly more in Canada and overseas.

Paypal preferred.

Price lowered. If there's no interest here, it's going up on eBay on Monday.

I have not sent PM, do you mind posting a picture of the lens. How does it compare to DA 50-200 in the range from 100 to 200. What quality of pictures can I expect from 200 to 300. In other words, your honest assessment for $60 worth of gear. Great pricing but I l would love to hear your assessment for the gear. I would be offline until late afternoon. All the best to your selling.

Attached are a couple of photos of the lens. Sorry they aren't better, but I'm running up against my allotted storage space here. It is a surprisingly decent lens. I doubt it would match the 50-200, although I haven't used that particular lens. It also costs a lot less, so there is that. But the build quality is quite good, with high quality plastics, good heft, and a very smooth, well damped zoom ring. When I first picked up the lens, I was shocked at how good the aperture ring was; it beats nearly all of the Pentax ones I've used, although that really doesn't matter on a DSLR.

If you're on a budget, it's hard to find a better deal on an autofocus tele-zoom.
