Item Description
This is an extremely nice copy of a relatively rare lens. The Tamron Adaptall SP 400mm F4 It takes very sharp images and I hate to sell it but I have enough long glass for what I do and I would like for someone to get this lens who can get more use out of it. There are only a few small flaws on this lens . I am including the following with the lens
Marumi 112mm front UV filter
Adaptall P/ KA Mount
Lens hood/cap
Tamron 01f 2x Teleconverter (Makes it a 800mm f8 lens)
43mm filter in the rear filter holder
original canvas carrying case custom made for this lens
Acra Swiss lens plate for tripod mounting
. And! I am also including a Tamron adaptall 80-210 f3.8-4.
This is a very capable lens and I have used it with both the Tamron 1.4x rear mounted converter and the Pentax AFA 1.7x with very good results. The only downside to image quality with this lens and its 300mm cousin is occasional purple fringing which can easily be removed in PP. Other than that the images this lens produces are sharp with great contrast.
