Item Description
With great sadness I'm selling my FA* 80-200 because I'm moving to an all-prime setup. So no heavy zooms anymore.

Optically the lens is just plain superb. It's the sharpest zoom I've ever used. Period. On top of that it has a fabulous bokeh.

The usage marks are near the mount, see photo 3. There are also a few marks on the hood where it attaches to the lens. But certainly nothing serious, the lens functions very well, including the power zoom. Maybe there is a little dust inside but that's normal for any lens.

Of course it comes with the original caps and its original soft case.

If you have any questions then please send me a PM.

Yep, cool lens but heavy! It's a dream in form and function, but for me it's simply too heavy. So primes it will be from now on...

BTW: doesn't the Q take nice wide-open photos? The 01 Standard Prime is really super sharp... especially wide open.

I can understand your sadness at parting with this lens, but also the reason why - you can't always use a tripod and it does add heft to your back-pack. On the other hand, it's a superb piece of optics and I couldn't start to think about selling mine, but good luck with the sale anyway.
BTW, you're right about the Q's IQ - I was actually a little amazed when I read that you'd photographed the 80-200 with it.

Might be a good thing to get for the eventual FF K-mount dSLR, if you can afford to stock up ahead of time.
