Yep, the real deal macro! Selling only because I am replacing it with a weather sealed macro (DFA100) - if it wasn't for the need for the weather sealing, this would stay in the bag!

This lens needs no introduction, it is a beast of a lens with stunning IQ and blistering sharpness. This copy is perfect, glass is flawless, just an outstanding copy...

Vivitar 105

Hi,

A bump for an excellent macro lens as I have one. A mate was that impressed that I also bought one for him off this forum where mine also came from.
Best of luck with the sale.

Regards.

Thanks Gordon - if it wasn't for me needing weather sealing then I would be keeping it...

It don't need to be in your pocket, just get it out of your bank account...

Did you use any tube extension with this lens for this shot?

Oh god. I think I want to rob a bank now. This lens is very high on my shortlist, but I unfortunately have to wait for some things in the works to come through before I can start adding to my kit again. I can see why this lens is so highly praised. I think that's better than the adaptall macro everyone raves about.

No, this one was shot f/13 200ISO w/ off camera flash, no extension tubes.

I pick this one over all macro's, but as noted I need a weather sealed macro due to the weather here in the state and the shooting I do around here (marsh lands, beaches, etc)...

Another recent shot (not best but shows some detail) - this one was taken with 56mm's of extension tubes...

Another bump for a great lens.
Here is a macro shot with mine, hand held@ F6.3 uncropped. It also works great for a short telephoto.
