Item Description
Description
I have a good condition Tamron SP AF XR Di LD (IF) 28-75mm f2.8 lens for sale. The lens isn't nearly as confusing to use as the name is to say!
It includes the box and the Tamron instructions/manual booklet. The box is a little bit beaten up I must admit but still it's good to have it (still has the inner packing to 'cuddle' the lens) - but the lens itself is very good, see photos.

This is probably my useful lens next to my 50-135 - in fact the pair of them is pretty much a perfect 'people shots' combo. Even though I'm selling it - I believe this is an EXCELLENT lens, it's just that I had a 16-45, this, and my 50-135 - which wasn't as simple as just having the 17-50 f2.8 and my 50-135, basically I'm simplifying my kit by one lens. If you took out the reviews on this forum by small amount strange people who rate it a '2' for some weird reason (the shot below is f3.2 - basically WIDE OPEN!) - then it would average over 9, since pretty much everyone else rates it 8, 9 or 10.

$315 includes postage within Australia, please add $12 if you intend to pay by Paypal, but bank deposit is $315 total, no more costs. PM offers also - offers are welcome!

International please contact me and I'll work out a price for you with shipping.

Here is a sample from this lens on a K7. This is only at f3.2 and 75mm (pretty much the same as you get out of the lens at f2.8) so you can see there is no shortage of quality, At f3.5 sharpness and contrast increases, as well as closer to the middle of its zoom range - eg. f3.5 at 55mm is off the hook sharp.

OFFERS WELCOME!

Hi, Quick question and sorry if its a stupid one. (am a complete beginner) I'm interested in a lens for my k-x & want to take photos of my kids indoor basketball games. Would either of your lenses be suitable?

Out of the 3 I'm selling, this would be the most suitable, being the longest but honestly I'd say this is a bit short, even for indoor sports. I suppose if you sit front row you could get in pretty close at 75mm, but if your budget allows I'd probably look at a 70-200 f2.8 that way you could do general playing shots at 70mm and good portrait/close up on the ball/feet etc shots at 150+.
The Pentax 50-135 would be the best I think but $$$$ and the autofocus is a bit slow.

Bump - photos added, includes box, information booklet - and I've dropped the price. One of the best ways you can spend $315 on camera gear I reckon.
