I am selling because I found a nice Pentax-M 50mm F1.4 lens at my local camera store for $30 just yesterday and that's really all I need. The 50 f1.2 is really a great lens though, I took a couple test shots and was amazed at the razor thin DOF and the nice bokeh.

This is an astonishing lens. Wide open, it is absolutely unforgiving with focus, but once you learn to nail the focus by hand, you can do incredible things with it. Stopped down a little it's an excellent walking around lens, although it weighs as much as some teles. If you like to play with DOF and bokkeh, and you want a 50mm that can do all that /and/ give you wonderously sharp, colorful images, this is a great lens to get. As I said, I have one. It's one of the two most expensive lenses in my kit. No regrets.

This is a superb lens.

I bought another A 50mm f1.2 on this forum 6 months ago, I couldn't be happier.

Grab it while you can.

It is a film era full frame lens. Made long before Pentax DSLR's.

It would work great in a film Pentax SLR.

Sigh, every time I think I'm done with lenses, one of these pop up. Well, I just sent out what must be my 20-something job application... if I get it a good response, hopefully this'll still be here!

Unlikely though. These lenses always disappear when I have the money. And when I'm about to be unemployed and broke they poke their head out and go "Peekaboo!"
