Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm Komine / Gen III PKA

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm Komine / Gen III PKA

Asking Price
$175.00

Item Location
N. Carolina (United States)

Item Description
This is a 3rd generation Vivitar Seies 1 with the PKA mount (has an A setting). Usually considered the most desirable version of the lens. This particular copy is in excellent + to like new condition. Glass is clean and clear . No dings or scratches on the barrel. No lens creap. Comes with both lens caps and case. Case has some wear. There is no internal dust , dirt or oil that I can see.
For years I bought lots lenses keeping "the good ones" until I had a whole bunch of zooms in this range. I'm pretty much over the whole LBA thing and it's time to part with some of my collection. --------- Make me an offer! ----------

Good lens. I am searching this focal length lens. This lens maybe 2g weight. Not light. Little interesting.

It is a 28******* serial number, komine built (I can tell by the grip).

There were 3 (most people think only 2) versions of the 3rd version that was made by Komine. The first version by komine did not have the "A" contacts and also was not marked with the famed red ring, the 2nd run had the "A" contacts but also did not have the famed red ring (the rarest of specimens btw) and the third and final one from Komine had the "A" contacts along with the famed red ring.

This lens is simply amazing, I can pull some of my pics shot with this thing (my copy of it) that are just as sharp if not sharper than DA* lenses...
