This lens has served me wonderfully over the years as one of my goto portrait lenses in my kit. I purchased a total of 3 Jupiter-9 MC lenses when I started off and this one proved to be the best balanced of sharpness, bokeh and color rendition. The lens has a small amount or residual oil on the blades but its been like that since I purchased it(as with all of them) and its never been a problem. The glass is very good for a J-9(no bubbles of defects), focusing is smooth though somewhat stiff but not enough to complain. There are a few dust specs inside, but nothing outstanding or certainly worth worrying about.
