Pentax 18-135mm & Sigma 8-16mm

I have for sale the following two lenses, which have served me extremely well for outdoor landscape photography. However, I'm selling these lenses due to a change in priority - with my newborn son, I have quickly realized that (a) I'm in need of faster glass for lowlight conditions and (b) I probably won't be going on 2+ week long treks in the wilderness anytime soon.

So in brief, here are the lenses:

1. Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 HSM Ultra Wide Zoom Lens - $600 (shipped).

In brief, this is fantastic lens - I actually have more photos up on my wall from this lens than any other lens I own. The perspective at 8mm (or 12mm equivalent on FF) is truly interesting and spectacular. Moreover, this is a good copy of the lens - sharp throughout the frame with excellent rendering. Used exclusively as a specialty landscape lens in the wilderness - it remains in excellent condition.

See attached photos to see what it can do.

2. Pentax 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED WR Lens - $400 (shipped).

Excellent all round lens, especially for outdoor shots. Very sharp in the center and contrasty all around - I haven't noticed significant falloff at the edges as some reviews suggest, although I mostly shot this lens stopped down. It was the main lens I used on a 2 week trek through the Peruvian Andes and it I was very happy with its performance. Because it was used in the field, there is a minor scratch the plastic exterior encasing the lens - there is no damage to the lens itself and all of the attached shots were taken post-scratch. Otherwise, this lens is in excellent condition. See photos for more details.

Let me know if you are interested in any of these lenses. Although I haven't yet sold any equipment on Pentaxforums, I'm a have an excellent eb*y track record under the username "brianche".

Best,
Brian

Best,
Brian
