Item Description
For sale, a Revuenon(same as Cosina) 55/1.2 in excellent condition. The aperture and focus are smooth. There is only minor dust and there are only minor paint imperfections in the body. It comes with an original front cap and an asahi rear cap. I added some bad camera phone pics, but I think they highlight any of the imperfections of the lens.

It's a really great lens. I never thought I'd sell it, but I bought a 55/1.2 FD Aspherical for my NEX and this one has to go to help fund the purchase. So I'm trading an amazing lens for a legendary one.

Does this lens go inside the Pentax K5, Kx, Kr witout problems?

Yes, I've used it on the k-r and k-5. The ricoh version of this lens is the only version that needs modification, as far as I know.

Base on the numerous threads I read about this lens, the Revuenon, Cosina, Ricoh and the Vivitar are all the same and were made by Cosina with the collaboration of Tamioka. The original Tamioka 55mm 1.2 lens is in M42 (the one posted by Pepe) and is sold as Auto Revuenon, Cosinon, Chinon, Yashinon and Tominon (the word Tamioka is always present in all version). Two versions of the original were produced with the distinction of the type of coating used on the lens element.

The one being sold above is made by Cosina and is believed to be sharper at f1.2 than the original. The original also has an addition 1.4 stop while the one made by Cosina jumps from f1.2 to f2.
