For Sale - Sold: PRICE LOWERED: Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 HSM, alternative to 70-200mm / Pentax 50-135mm

A deal is pending on the lens for very close to my asking price, and payment is supposed to be sent tomorrow morning. I will update this thread tomorrow, to either mark it as sold, or to let everybody know that it is still available.

Okay, looks like the lens is still available for now. And in other news, it appears that the SDM failure rate for the Pentax 50-135mm f/2.8 could be as high as 1 in 4. Did I mention that this lens does NOT have SDM?

That's weird...I tried to post a new reply to this thread stating that the lens is still available, and the forum added the message to my last post from last night. I've never seen it do that before...

Perhaps it is a new anti-bumping device, as none of these posts seemed to have had a "bumping" effect.

The lens sold for $800, so I now have a white K-30 on the way. Thank you to everybody who expressed interest, and for all the helpful comments.
