Is this DI good for FF cameras, or just for crop sensor cameras?

This is for full frame - so it has 2 advantages
1. Get more magnification on the cropped sensor
2. Will work with the mythical Pentax full-frame DSLR (if they retain the KAF2 mount)

I have the Tamron Adaptall 80–200 f2.8 (30A) and would like to have this one eventually for the AF.

Not unusual to find a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 with dust in the front element, so don't be afraid thinking this lens has been cared badly, I'm sure it has been kept very well. With a filter, it completely eliminates dust entering this lens. Highly recommended using a filter if you plan on buying, I took apart this lens a long time ago to clean up dust in the front element. I find that the only part of the lens where dust enters is through the very circle front of the plastic part holding the front element in when you zoom. Highly recommend this lens, a lot sharper than the DA* 50-135 at f2.8
Its not just the front element. Every single zoom lens acts like a vacuum pump everytme we chane the zoom. There is always a gap between the cylindrical tubes that lets tiny dust particles into the assembly.

Very tempting. I love mine but can you believe I can't find it? I still hope it will just show but I think it is lost forever.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have absolutely no idea. My first thought was the housekeeper but she has been loyal for over 10 years. No way she did it. Other than that, I got nothing. It was there before I went on vacation but it wasn't when I got back. The house alarm was exactly how I left it and so were all of my other possessions some of which are more expensive and easier to lose.

Maybe the Hardy Boys can solve this "Case of The Lost Tamron."
