Item Description
I was going to put this in my Mega-sale thread but figured it needed a bit more description, so I'm making a separate thread for it.

This lens is just about the smallest, lightest, and cheapest way to get to 600mm I've come across. Coming in at 1.8 lbs (.83 kg) and 5.5" (14cm) long, this lens is truly petite. I've included a picture of it attached to a Super ME for scale (camera not included in sale).

This lens was originally in Olympus OM mount, which I replaced with a matching K mount from another Sigma lens of the same period (the mounts were completely interchangeable and required no new drilling). Upon request, I can include the original OM mount too if you want to switch it out and play around.

The lens exterior is in really nice shape, with only light handling wear, and the lens is mechanically sound. There are some small spots on the front (smaller) mirror, which I at first thought might be the beginnings of fungus, but which appear on closer inspection to be due to aging of the silvering. They do not noticeably affect image quality and are invisible through the viewfinder.

This lens also features a drop-in filter system and comes with the stock clear filter.

The lens comes with caps , metal hood, and a very nice original foam-lined leatherette carrying tote, in excellent condition.

I had one of these in my old Canon film days. I had a run though various mirror lenses a year or so ago, but none matched my memories of the Sigma, and all were sold or returned (one was defective). I end up with the Sigma 150-500, so someone else can grab this lens. It's a fun one.
