Complete PENTAX K-x Camera Kit + Katz Eye Focus Screen Installed

Original owner purchased new with less than 7000 shutter actuations.

In like new condition with no cracks, scratches or damage. This camera has never been dropped, kicked, thrown or used as a weapon to defend myself.

It comes with a brand new unused 18-55 kit lens, the Pentax neck strap, SilkyPix, software, all original cables and documentation. The LCD is scratch free with an aftermarket protection screen installed; this can be painlessly removed should you wish to replace it.

To sweeten the deal... I am throwing in a PENTAX Infrared Wireless Remote Control. This comes in very handy when shooting with a tripod.

If you want to explore some of the best lenses Pentax has ever made, this camera is up to the task of precise manual focusing as it comes with a Katzeye Focus Screen. For more information click here...

KatzEye Focusing Screen for the Pentax K100D, K110D, K100D Super, K200D, K-x, and K-r

This Katzeye is has been specially treated with OptiBrite by the good folks at Katzeye Optics. OptiBrite makes a huge difference when focusing in dim light or working with small apertures. " The treatment can increase the apparent brightness up to 2 stops or more in some conditions." You can read more about it here...

OptiBrite Brightness Enhancement - KatzEye Optics

At this time the going rate for a used K-x is between $300 - $400.
The Katzeye alone costs $160 - not including installation...
I'm asking $400 CAD for everything as listed above!!

Never did use the kit lens, consequently never used the above filter either, so it is also included.

For an additional $30 CAD I will include 2 sets of 4... 8 AA rechargeable Eneloop batteries with the original Sanyo charger and a Maha Powerex C-9000 smart charger.

Eneloops rechargeables are good for an average 450 shots per charge!

Using the smart charger will maximize the performance and life of the batteries.

Also includes... Pe:lol:ntax K-x and K-r, e-book. (Free sample available) - AlettA Photographic

It is a complete copy of the full book, but it is the first version which deals strictly with the K-x. It is much more readable than the original PENTAX owners manual which is also included with the camera.

The K-x produces much cleaner images (less noise) than the K-7.

Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing your camera, and I'd like to know how much shipping the item to me would be...I live in Hawaii (my zip is 96746) and normally I'd recommend people ship stuff here using USPS Priority...inexpensive and quick, especially if you can get it in one of their flat-rate boxes. Anyway, I'm not familiar with Canadian post, so how much do you think it would be to ship it to me?

I'm also curious about the eyepiece...being old enough to need some help with my vision, is it true there is no diopter adjustment on the camera without this eyepiece?

thanks, Roland.

Hah...should have read about the focusing screen before posting....got nothing to do with the eyepiece, I see now. But, I do wonder if you have a composition pattern on that screen. thanks.

Ready to Buy

Hello, I am ready to buy your K-x kit w/ the Katz eye. Sounds like just what I have been looking for to replace my dedicated m42 digital, an *istDL, which has finally died and been given proper rites. I'm not sure of procedure. I live in Michigan and I have a PayPal account. Please let me know the next step to take. I'd also like to add $30 to the $400 for the battery charger. Thank you, Wakartist (William A Kincaid)
