If you have never had one of these, I would encourage you to try it out. I took this picture yesterday of my daughter wide open. It is "soft" at 1.4 but it is amazing if you have good light. The bokeh and its softness makes it a perfect lens for portraits.

Also, I've tried to change the price but doesn't seem to take affect when I close it. I'll try again.
