or preferably trade (plus some cash) for a K 135 f/2.5 or even trade for Takumar optical equivalent of K 135 f/2.5. For sale only at this point. I acquired a K 135 f/2.5 from another forum member.
This is an incredibly sharp macro/portrait lens. I'm not really a macro photographer, and I use my FA 77 more for portraits. This is the sharpest lens I've ever used wide open, at least as sharp as the M 50 f/4. When I say sharp, I don't mean just resolution. A lot of primes are sharp wide open, but lose contrast or exhibit glow around high contrast areas. Not this lens. It's sharp and contrasty at f/2.8. Aside from a little bit of purple fringing on highlights wide open, the IQ is as good wide open as it is stopped down. It also makes a great telephoto landscape lens, since it is so sharp across the frame. Problem is, it's too close in FOV to my FA 77. I want something longer, and I've heard tons of good things about the K-series 135 f/2.5.
It's in fantastic condition. I would have listed it as "like new," except I don't have the original box. It's an Adaptall-2 lens, so you can put a KA mount on it and get the benefit of auto aperture, but it comes with a K adapter (pictured). Here are photos. let me know if you want to see any more.
A candid portrait, wide open:
And one from today. F/2.8 Used in Av mode.
