Dang that is a nice lens. I just picked one up at my local camera shop last week. But after taxes etc. it cost me $445.00. That is substantially more than the lucky person that will buy your lens. Here again, I'm a day late and a dollar short. ;-)

I was thinking of buying one of these too, but I was going to get it online; it's much cheaper than from a brick store..

Good luck with the sale, Dave!

You could always take yours back and buy mine. It is a great lens but I have LBA for a Sigma 70mm Macro and this is how I can fund it without getting in too much trouble.

How sharp is it? I'm considering something like this and possibly parting with my 77 ltd. Using a 28-75 as day to day lens since most of my shots are family and portrait style snap shots, the zoom versatility would probably be more useful than my 77 if the image quality and sharpness are close.

I'd still have my 43 for lower light needs and small lens needs.

Just curious. Have any samples taken with it?
