[SOLD] FS: Pentax ZX-30 film body

SOLD!
In great shape. I've run couple of rolls through it and it works just fine. It's pretty simple to use, so if you're looking for a no-frills AF film body, this would make a good one. It does have manual controls, so it would be a good inexpensive body for someone to learn on without having to dump a whole bunch of money into. I'm getting rid of it to raise money for my K10 fund. It comes with the body cap, instruction book, and a couple of extra batteries. Just add a strap, lens, and roll of film and you're good to go.

I'll take $35, which includes shipping to addresses in the US and Canada.

Please PM me if you're interested.

Thanks!
Heather

Another thing...if I'm not mistaken, this body won't work with all Pentax lenses. It will work with AF and manual lenses, assuming that they have an "A" on the aperture ring. If you mostly use AF and "A" manual lenses, this is still a good deal.

If there's a child in your life that wants to learn about photography, this would be a great starter camera. Just add a cheap A50/2 or an AF 28-80 or 35-80 and some film and your kid is good to go.

I wonder how much it would cost to ship it to Eastern Europe. And how I could pay for it...

Quick question, does it work with an M42 adapter?
If not, I'm going to have to invest in some new lenses.

Dan,

According to the manual, it says the camera works with KAF2, KAF, and KA lenses. I did try it with one of the m42 lenses and wide-flange adapter and it seemed to work. I haven't tried it with the genuine Pentax adapter (or one like it), though.

To make things easier, what you could do is pick up some cheap manual primes and zooms with the "A" on the aperture ring.

HTH,
Heather
