Item Location
Newcastle (Australia)

Item Description
Here I have the Sigma 18-125mm but the HSM version, not the first one.
I forgot to put when I first listed - that for an extra $10 you can get a Kenko 67mm UV filter to go with it, and for an extra $15, a Kenko ND8 (3 stop) filter - or $25 extra for both filters.
I don't mind saying that to me, this has always been a bit of an odd lens - basically, it is a "pro grade" lens, with a layman's aperture. That is - everything else about it is pro-standard: the build quality, the AF speed (fastest I own) and amazingly, the sharpness wide open. OK it isn't up there with stuff like my DA* 50-135 or the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 - but at f5.6 between 60mm and 110mm it is actually DAMN sharp. So I have always kept this lens around for things that required demon AF speed, and a bit of depth of field lee-way so that I wouldn't be using f2.8 anyway - basically I am talking about moving subjects, and for me that was weddings, particularly the walking down the aisle and the recession - I could just never snap those at f4.0 or faster with another, slower AF lens.
On top of that it's just a good every day lens with a very useable range, and 67mm filters - big enough not to vignette on 18mm landscapes and small enough not to put you out of pocket. It also does reasonable macro (see two photos attached - one full size, one crop). 3.8 to 1 mightn't be mind blowing but it's sharp enough to crop, I prefer it to the Sigma 28-80 1:2 macro, which looks nasty at any aperture.

It came with a camera I bought new a while back, so I've never had the box or paper work unfortunately - but other than that it is in fantastic condition - my way of taking product shots always seem to show up tiny specs of dust that I can never see myself, so please don't think that it's "dusty", it's just the flash showing every little white thing - it is clean and in great condition optically and cosmetically.

Shipping is FREE in Australia, tracking provided. Bank deposit is preferred and thus attracts a $4 discount, making the total $191, or $195 with Paypal.
Overseas you'll have to message me about shipping prices. USA and Canada I have checked already, it's $26 so make it $240 AU for you in total.

Feel free to ask questions or propose offers!
Enjoy!

BUMP with another decent price drop - it's now under $200 for Australian buyers - still get the $4 discount for using bank deposit, making it $191 with bank deposit or $195 with Paypal.

$220 AU flat via Paypal to USA and Canadian buyers.

I've had this lens for a couple years now and love it. It takes really nice pics and the autofocus is very fast and very quiet! I sold my kit lenses in favor of this lens.
