A small, lightweight zoom with internal zoom - the lens does not extend at all when zooming, and doesn't extend much when focusing. Autofocus works well, aperture blades are snappy and responsive.
Glass in great shape, no haze or fungus. Barrel in good shape, but has some scuffs and scratches from use.
This isn't the greatest of lens, but you can get some good shots from it - I did a quick shot in my backyard - it's attached. Plastic, but everything is working.
Advantages are that it's very inexpensive, very light, and very small. Great as a walk-around, or when you don't want to take your really expensive lens.
