Item Description
This mount opens up the world of (often inexpensive) Tamron Adapt-a-Matic lenses to your camera.

Adapt-a-Matic lenses were Tamron's predecessor to the Adaptall line. The concept is the same, but the mounts are different. The earlier Adapt-a-Matic mounts are getting harder and harder to find. This one is for the ubiquitous m42 screwmount. It has the aperture pin incorporated into the mount.

With this mount, you can purchase any Tamron Adapt-a-Matic lens (regardless of what weird unwanted mount it has on it) and then replace that weird mount with this one to use it on your Pentax DSLR with an m42 to Pentax-K adapter. Some of these lenses go for very little money because people don't have THIS MOUNT.

If you are a NEX, 4/3, or micro-4/3 shooter the same thing is true. Once you put an m42 adapter on the Adapt-a-Matic lens of you choice you can use it with the m42 adapter to your camera.

Naturally, this also would allow the lenses to be used directly on your Spotmatic, F, ES, ESII, or other brand of screw mount film camera. These go for close to $50 when you can find them. This one is priced to sell at $29 plus actual shipping to your location. It is small and light, so shipping will be CHEAP.
