Item Description
For sale is a Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. I ended up with three of these babies so two have to go. I would rate this lens as "very good" but unfortunately the ratings only go from "good" to "excellent".

S/N: 1370343

Glass:
The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, haze, or fungus. There is a small amount of internal dust but less than I have seen in other Pentax M and A lenses that have crossed my path.

Aperture:
The aperture blades are free of oil and function perfectly in the "A" setting. Like most other Pentax A50/1.7 lenses the aperture ring is difficult to turn but this lens turns better than other A50/1.7 lenses that I have owned (and the one that I am keeping).

Focus Ring:
The focus ring turns smoothly for almost all of the throw but there is a hint of resistance for just a few millimeters towards the long end of the focus throw.

Body:
Cosmetically this lens has minor paint loss on the metal filter ring; however, filters, screw-in hoods, etc. all screw on and off just fine.

Included are "vintage" Pentax front caps and generic rear caps. Shipping and any applicable PayPal fees are included in the price. Pictures are below.
