Item Description
What great little camera! I bought this as my small camera to take with me all the time. Some things in my life have changed a bit and no longer need a small camera. I was so impressed by the X10 that I bought a replacement for it - the Fujilfilm X-S1 super zoom bridge camera that shares the same sensor and EXR processor.

There are pages and pages of reviews of the X10 all over the internet as it seems to be a very popular camera along with the others in the X-series. I won't go into all the details here because of this, but if you need any specific information I will be glad to answer all questions.

The camera is in like-new condition - not a mark or scratch anywhere on it. Lens is clean and clear. All functions work exactly as they should - just like a brand new camera.

Included with the sale:

Fujifilm X10 camera w/lens cap
Original box with all paper work, software CD, and original packaging.
2 original Fujifilm batteries - both work perfectly
Battery charger
Computer connection cable (never used)
Neck strap (never used)

Also as an option, I have the X10 Ergonomic Extension Kit which consists of the thumb rest and soft shutter release. If sold with the camera I would like $65.00 for it.

Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail with the cost included in the sale price to the US. I will gladly ship to Canada for an additional $5. Canadian buyers please be aware of you duty/taxes as I will not alter the customs form. I generally ship the next business day after payment is received.

Payment is accepted with PayPal with no fees assessed to the buyer.

If you have any questions about this beautiful little camera, please just send me a PM

Fuji X-10

I heard that Fuji was replacing the image sensor due to orbs. Does this camera have the new sensor?

The sensor was not replaced during my ownership. I've looked in my images for any orb issue and never saw one, so if it ain't broke.........

---------- Post added 10-26-12 at 09:21 PM ----------

I've had a few folks question if the sensor was replaced due to the Fuji orb issue. I've done some research on this on the web when I first bought the camera and have seen examples posted on other forums. It seems this white orb that will appear in an image will be generated when shooting at a direct light source like a street light, or at a reflective surface in sunlight. I've tried a few shots while I have owned the camera and was not able to produce any images with a hint of the orbs.

That being said, I may be wrong about this. If anyone who is interested in this camera can provide me with what I can shoot to test it for the orb issue I will be more than happy to oblige.

I've also searched for information of what serial numbers might be affected with this issue, and find nothing. If anyone has information as to what cameras were affected by this by serial number, the number on this camera is 14A00059.

I realize this orb issue is one that scares people away from these cameras. As I've said, I have never seen an issue with this particular camera. But, I could be wrong and have not shot in the exact situation that one needs to produce the orb. With that said, I will extend the inspection period for the buyer from my normal 3 days to 7 days. A buyer will have plenty of time to inspect the camera, and if it would produce an image with this orb issue, I will gladly take it back for a full refund. As per my normal terms, all the buyer would need to do is pay for the return shipping.

I'm certainly not trying to unload this camera because of the possibility of this sensor issue. The only reason I am selling it is to help fund the bigger brother of this camera that I just bought - the X-S1. I've been very happy with this X10 - it's just that I need something with a longer zoom right now. The new X-S1 shares the same sensor and EXR processor as the X10 and that is why I bought this particular model.

As always, please ask if you have any questions. Also, even if you aren't interesting in buying right now, if you know of a way to prove or disprove this sensor issue I would like to know so I can test for myself.

Nice images. I have the X10 and it is a wonderful camera. So much fun to use. Good luck with the sale. Stan, any idea if the thumb rest would work with the ever ready cases for the X10?

Thanks Mark.

I don't know if the ever ready case will work with the thumb rest - I've never heard or seen a photo of the two in use together.
