Sigma 8-16, Sigma 17-70 macro

I'm selling my Sigma 8-16 and my Sigma 17-70 macro. I have the DA 12-24 and DA*50-135 covering most of the range of these two and I can't keep everything, so these must go. Both lenses come in original box with both caps and, for the 8-16, the case.

Payment by Paypal (I'll eat the Paypal charges)
Actual shipping charges to be paid by buyer (I will ship via any carrier buyer prefers, but will only ship insured)

Sigma 8-16: Asking $550US. Bought this from another forum member about a year ago. It's in excellent condition. A really fun lens that's insanely wide. I'm sure I'll miss the 8-12 range I'm giving up, but something's gotta give. I'll post photos this weekend when back in Brisbane.

Sigma 17-70 macro: Asking $375US. This was my most-used lens as a walk-around lens till I picked up a 31 limited. Good for portraiture, landscapes, street photography. A very useful range and the macro function is very handy. Lens is in excellent condition other than one scuff mark on the hood (see photos), and I'll throw in a Hoya HD UV filter and a Hoya HD CPL (worth $148 new at B&H Photo). I'll post photos this weekend when back in Brisbane.

Added some photos of the 17-70 and some taken this morning with the 17-70. Photos are hand-held taken at 17 mm, 70 mm, and close at 70.

Send me a PM if interested.

Just to be clear, prices are US dollars. This has confused some since the lens is in Australia, but I'm a Yank and my Paypal account is US dollars, thus my pricing. To get Australian dollar price, subtract 5%.

Here's a photo of the 17-70 lens and the scuff on the hood. Also 3 photos taken with the lens, jpeg's from camera, file size adjusted but nothing else. One at 17 of Story Bridge, another at 70, and a close-up.

People often talk about a "walk-around" lens. The 17-70 is really about the only one that fits my description of a single lens that can do most things - wide enough for tight spots, long enough for portraits and some details, and focuses pretty closely.
