No, distance is no salvation. The lens is only ten minutes drive away!

Gaaahh! Why didn't I see this last week. Over the past week, I've bought several fixed FL lenses because I've been dissatisfied with the zooms I currently have.

Having just read the reviews, maybe I can buy this and dispense with some of my other lenses. How can I hide this from my wife.......?

OK, I'd like to buy it.

My wife will kill me but one only lives once. I had better sell some other lenses as she has commented on my LBA. I think I might have to pass on the Yamaha XJR1300 motorbike I wanted to buy back from the bloke I sold it to last Easter (he was gunna trade it in).

And this is what you got:

I'm sure it was a tough decision. 20 years ago the bike would have looked better - today the lens does for me........

It looks a bit bigger than my SMC F 100-300mm

I've still got another bike - a Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. I inherited it and the XJR from my son aka Bucko. I might have to sell the Ohlins rear suspension upgrade I bought on Friday.

I'm currently surrounded by lenses and teleconverters as I get ready to take their pic to put them up for sale before my wife gets back from interstate on Monday.

I want the zoom for taking motorbike racing pix.
