[SOLD] Pentax 300 F4.0 lens for sale.

PRICE LOWERED

This lens is in excellent condition. There are a few scuffs in the finish, but the lens looks great. The glass is free from scratches and there is no fungus in the lens. The lens is very clean inside. The aperture works fine, and the focusing is very smooth. SOLD shipped in continental US.

If anyone is interested in this lens, you can get a metal tripod ring for it from this source:

Tripod mount ring 4 Canon Macro ef 100mm f2.8 USM lens - eBay (item 180213125985 end time Feb-11-08 07:47:45 PST)

The only modification that you will need to do, is to remove the top part of the white bump on the lens where the ring mounts. It is visible in the last photo of the lens above.

I hope that this helps!

Thanks, Tom for the info on the tripod mount - it looks like a very useful accessory and cheap too!

Here is a picture I took last night with this lens and a 2X teleconverter:

The image was cropped (twice) because Flickr does not allow me to upload full size photos. This lens does amazingly well on moon pictures. I will send full size originals by email if requested.

Tom W.

Here is a tighter crop of the above picture - remember This is an EXTREME enlargement. Look at the lower left corner of the moon and the detail:
