Pentax-A Green Star 135MM F 1.8 for sale.
Ser # 5702189. Condition is perfect. No brassing, scratches or abrasions on the lens body or glass. Aperture blades are clean and snappy. Lens comes with and has been always stored with a Tiffen 77MM UV haze #1 filter with desiccant bag. Filter threads are perfect. A rare full-frame lens and one of Pentax’s very best.
Original front lens cap, generic rear cap. Camera mount surfaces are like new. Original leather Pentax storage cylinder in near new condition. The leather hinge is perfect. It is marked Pentax on the top and HE-169B JAPAN on the bottom. Inside foam is perfect. History: I have owned this lens for many years and used it with my LX cameras as a hobby. It has always been lightly used and well cared for. The reason for selling is my eyesight is failing with age. This is a marvelous low light tele lens. This is a great head hunter and concert lens and works well with a 1.4 doubler to 190MM F2.5 approx. Metal construction with a superb build.
I will take pictures of the lens next week but you know what they look like. Location is in the No. Los Angeles area if you would like a lens inspection. I will be in hospital for a few days coming up this month so there might be a gap in response time. Price is US $1,900, PayPal, plus shipping $45 insured USPS, UPS, FedEx, your choice, professionally over packaged, ships same day or next day latest, CONUS preferred but I can research shipping elsewhere. I don't recall ever seeing one offered here. Thanks for looking.

wow. I thought A* 85 is the sharpest, this apparently is special. Anyone know why the star on this lens is green color?

I think the black A* bodies had the green star. I know my A*200/4 Macro had a green star. Can't recall what the white telephotos had for star color.

A series white telephotos had the green star, it seems. The F 250-600 had a red star.
