Item Description
Up for sale is my DA* 300mm lens, one of Pentax's finest. This copy is in excellent condition with no SDM issues. The only problem is that the hood is a little fussy to put on and take off; I think the plastic tabs on the hood itself may be damaged, and there is some paint loss on the lens where the hood attaches (see photo). The hood will go on, it's just a little more fussy than on my other lenses and I've priced the lens accordingly. The SDM focuses quickly and quietly and has never been a problem. I also see some minor dust inside, but nothing that shows in pictures taken with this lens. The hood, both caps, the pouch, and original box and paperwork are all included. Price reduced to $900, which is the lowest I'll go. If I can't sell it for that, I'll just keep it. Price includes PayPal charges and insured Priority Mail shipping in the U.S.

my hood does the same...must be a flaw with the 300...otherwise it is a great lens!!
