Pentax-DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL WR lens - $99 plus shipping SOLD
Tamron AF 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 (IF) Macro lena (A18) - $309 plus shipping. SOLD

US shipping $8 for one, $12 for both. International shipping available but rates vary by country, please ask about your specific situation.

Both in very good condition, look nice and work perfectly. Few if any dust spots inside, no effect on function; clear glass and maybe a few minor smudges on the cap, focus ring or similar. No cases or boxes though. Pictures to follow.

A few more details -

The 18-55 WR is a great little lens for when weather might be an issue. It is light and compact yet has a good basic range; can focus closely (1:3 magnification or so), and has great colors and contrast. Sharpness can't match a prime lens at the extremes (18mm, 55mm) but is darn good in the middle. I haven't used mine in abusive conditions but like it for sledding, windy days at the beach, and travel when one can't predict what the weather might be. I even used it in Yellowstone, in case sulfurous gasses tried to get into the camera. (I don't think they did). I got it essentially new from someone splitting up a K7 kit, and it still looks great.

The Tamron 18-250 is the same lens as the Pentax-DA 18-250, although with probably different coatings and no quick shift. This is by far the best reviewed "super-zoom" for K mount and I can confirm that it blows the 28-200mm lenses I have tried out of the water. It makes a wonderful "all-purpose" lens in a compact package, and is great for travel, especially when paired with a single fast prime. IQ is a step up from the 18-55, more like that lens's best throughout its range. It is a little weaker at 250mm, but usable even there. Mine is in very good condition, with clear glass and good cosmetics. The only two downsides to this lens are a flimsy hood that is a little tricky to mount reversed, and zoom creep (its more running than creep) when pointed downward. There is a lock to keep it at 18mm and compact, though, which is handy.

If you find either of these other than as described I am happy to refund your money upon return. I accept PayPal and expect no additional payments for "fees". I will ship internationally, as mentioned above, but cost will vary by country, and I will not mark things as "gifts" for customs purposes. Reasonable offers will be entertained (especially for multiple items) but be aware that a full-priced offer will get the item. Thanks for looking, and please let me know if you have any questions!

Nick

Hi sram,

I got the 18-55 WR back in 2010. It is no longer under warranty. I will take some pictures of it tonight, and add a few sample shots if I can scare those up. Thanks for your interest!

A couple more with the 18-55 WR. The weather resistance was great to have in Yellowstone, where exposure to sulfurous gasses is always a possibility.

One of my favorite pictures I've taken, and with the kit lens!

Is there anything in here that hasn't sold? If not, please mark your thread as sold. Thanks!

Hi Adam,

Sometime when I have marked things as sold I haven't been able to edit them again to remove the pictures. I hate to leave dead links in once I delete the pictures, but if you want me to do that I will. (I like to leave the pictures in until I know that people are satisfied with their lenses).

Thanks, Nick
