For sale is a Pentax 645 FA SMC 120mm Macro F/4 lens.
Condition is in between excellent + and excellent ++ condition I think. Meaning it has been used but has also been carefully treated basically. If I bought it from a reputable dealer like Ffordes and it was listed as excellent ++ I'd be OK about it, and if listed at excellent + I'd be very pleased.
It comes complete with the hood and front and rear lens caps.
No marks on either the font or rear glass as far as I can see.
The body and hood show some signs of use, in that the rubber focus grip does not look brand new, but there are no dents or dints etc. on either the lens or hood, but there will be the odd slight rub mark on the hood.
The photographs are of the actual lens for sale.
I have listed this at what I hope is a very realistic price. The nearest price for a used copy I can see on eBay is $650 and I'm not aware of any other used one's for sale in the UK at the moment.The new price is £1,999!
This actual lens takes stunningly sharp photographs, and reviews place the 120mm macro as the sharpest of the 645 lenses. For sale as I am not doing any macro work.
I am happy to consider shipping overseas to some destinations, so if interested please get in touch.
I also have a Pentax 645 viewfinder magnifier that I will be selling, but not listed yet. As this is a macro lens and the veiwfinder magnifier is potentially of use for macro work, I mention it as a footnote here. I need to look up the part number etc. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?
