[SOLD] E+ SMC-M 200mm f/4

.

Never would have considered letting this go up until last week, but I'm getting a Voigtlander 180mm, and I can't justify the duplicate focal length primes at this time.

(EDIT: Added SMC-A 50mm f/2 to package. This is in excellent shape, see photos.)

SMC-M 200mm f/4 .........................$120 shipped SALE PENDING
SMC-A 50mm f/2.............................Free with 200mm

Link below shows some pictures of the lens, as well as some shots I just took with it today as well as some from a couple months ago (shots are all with 200mm, not 50):

This has been one of my sharpest performers, and one of my favorites. I loved to take it on walkabouts because it's so light, bright, quick to "see" focus. With a 1.4x, 1.7x or 2.0x TC it's an excellent birding piece, and it's lightness and relatively small size makes it a great street-scene performer.

It's also beaten every zoom I've ever owned that reaches 200mm for sharpness, even my new Tamron 18-250, and it's faster than my Tamron at 200mm (f4 vs. f6.3) Because f this it's been my exclusive choice for indoor long telephoto needs - I never consider the Tamron indoors because I've owned this lens, unless I absolutely need the extra 50mm on the long end. Which I almost never really do - getting the added sharpness and speed of this prime is more important 90% of the time.

It's in near-mint shape, with no internal dust, and only very, very slight marks on the exterior. Aperture blades work perfectly. It has a built-in metal extending hood, which makes it an even more compact carryabout; don't need to worry about a separate hood - and you can never 'forget' the hood.

Comes with a very nice leather case.

The SMC 200mm is just a pleasure to own, and owning one in this shape will give you that special "Pentax Collector" feeling every time you put it on your camera. Or just hold it in your hands

Yes, and very sharp wide open (f/4) so you can get the full bokeh without sacrificing center sharpness.

Thank you, those were just quick walkaround shots outside. This lens is very easy to focus, it 'sees' well through the viewfinder and the focusing ring has perfect throw, so it's fast to get a tack-sharp focus. Plus it's a light lens, so handshake is minimal.

The shot of my little guy was taken from across the room when he was swinging in his swing about to go to sleep, and I was able to focus on the high point of his swing and take the shot the next time he reached that point. I've tried to do that same trick with my AF lenses, and it takes me 3-4 shots to get it right. The M 200mm nailed that in one try.

Make sure you zoom in to each image to see the detail/sharpness/resolution on those shots (and remember that they're all handheld on a cold, windy day!)

Added SMC-A 50mm f/2, included in the price!

This has the coveted 'A' setting, and is in excellent shape. Even if you already have an AF 50, this could be used with a reversing adapter to make a powerful macro setup.

See photo of lens at:

PM replied. Offers exist close to asking price, but would like to hold out for asking price a bit longer, I think it's an exceptional value!
