Item Description
"Stack o' Primes" Pentax-A SMC 35-105mm f3.5 Macro (worldwide)

Here's your chance to add a highly respected "A" lens to your Pentax arsenal. While zooms are normally a compromise, Pentax engineered what many owners have called a "stack of primes" lens. It is especially well regarded for it's colors, rendering rich reds and blues - as well as for it's respectable "macro" function.
This is a manual focus, two stage zoom (focusing ring separate from zoom/macro ring).

AND/OR
Check out 283 images taken with this lens on Flickriver.

Cosmetically it shows just a bit of wear, as you can see in the photos, but optically and mechanically it is gorgeous. This lens shipped with the UV filter you see here, but after taking it off for photos I noticed that there is just a bit of a flat spot in the roundness of the filter ring. It still obviously accepts filters, as it is, but I will leave it to the new owner to decide if he wishes to do anything further to it (chances are you won't).

Owner comments:

I have and use the A 35-105. It is a fantastic lens. Sharp as a tack, and very bright and contrasty. It is my favorite lens.

I have one, and love it. It provides the versatility that you use a zoom lens for, without exacting a terrible cost in lost sharpness and contrast. Under most circumstances, I would be at a loss to tell which pictures I'd taken with my 35-105 and which I'd taken with my prime lenses.

I'll add to all the praise for the A 35-105/3.5 lens. . . . optically it is just about as sharp as any prime.
Priced to sell quickly, as I have other purchases to pay for. (LBA is a harsh mistress, but I love her! )

Just a friendly remind: this is an A 35-105 3.5 lens, not F4.
Great lens! I have one and I will not apart with it.

Thanks Grahame,
I listed both an A35-105 f3.5 and a M75-150 f4 today and I flipped the apertures in my titles and descriptions. Should be corrected now.
