[SOLD] FS: Newly CLA'd Pentax MX...

I have a Pentax MX that was just CLA'd by Eric and pentaxs.com. It works very smoothly now and is a pleasure to use. I have a different camera that I enjoy using more that needs a CLA so I am selling this to fund it. The CLA from Eric was $70 + the $5 in shipping I paid.

I will sell the camera for $125 USD + shipping. This price is firm. I accept paypal.

I don't know from personal usage but I have seen pictures on Flickr taken with Limited lenses on MX's. I would probably keep the MX if I could afford to use it with those lenses

Kresica, I only wish I would have known earlier that I wasn't going to keep it. I only made up my mind yesterday.

I had a black MX back in the 80's. I think if someone was selling a black one in the same condition as this one and I knew for certain that the Limited lenses worked I would definitely jump on it.

The new DA lenses don't have an aperture ring. You'd have hard time using it on an old manual camera like the MX

I know some guys using the DA40 and DA70 on some later AF models w/o any problem. I myself tried the DA70 on my MZS in P mode, works great! The DA21 will certainly have dark corner/circle when used on these 35mm film cameras, but the DA40 and 70 seem working fine, even wide open.

Yea, the DA lenses don't work. I'm thinking of the 31mm f1.8, 43mm f1.9 and 77mm f1.8.

Those lenses of course work very well on the MX The MF on these three FA Limiteds are pretty smooth, better than most other AF lenses.
