It was purchased from the original owner, and he hardly used it. I've actually owned it for only about a month, and it's seen some light use in a few situations, but nothing drastic.
I bought it as a "poor man's" DA 15 ltd, and it performed admirably in that regard. However, the lens turned out to be a magnificent all-rounder, whether for product shots (amazing close focus capability), landscapes, or walkaround/normal view shots. I just got a DA 15 ltd, so the 16-45 should go to someone who will give it a good home.
This copy is NEAR MINT/LIKE NEW. The finest specimen of this lens in all the Shire. No dings, marks, or scratches on the body. No dusts inside the lens elements (maybe there are one or two in the edges, but I took a close look and can't find any). There are slight signs of wear on the mount and lens hood attachment area. Some tiny bits of dirt are present on the grip of the focus and zoom ring (everytime I try to brush them off, they somehow end up going back on. I've stopped trying to remove them).
