Item Description
I'm listing a Vivitar 2x macro teleconverter. This TC is fantastic for three reasons:

1-it's an excellent TC
2-It has A contacts, meaning that aperture and exposure information can pass between the lens and camera
3-when a 50mm lens is mounted on it, it actually becomes a 1:1 macro lens

Impressive? You bet!

The TC is really like new, only the box is missing. It has both caps, the leather carrying case, even the silica gel used to protect it! It works just as expected. I will confirm later this evening if it can pass aperture information with SDM lenses, but I see no reason why it wouldn't.

You pay paypal fees if applicable. The price is in Canadian dollars.

I am also selling a nicely matched SMC-A 50mm f1.4 and a Super Program package. I'll be interested if offering a rebate if someone buys the whole package.

I ran some tests this evening with the lens in its macro position and the A50 f1.4 as a lens. I must say the results astound me and if I didn't have a macro lens already, I would hold on to this TC with both hands. It actually turns the 50 f1.4 into a 100mm f2.8 macro.
