It is definitely a wonderful camera. It was purchased in January 2011, and the shutter count is ~25,000. It has the latest version of firmware installed. Everything works great as it should. Sensor is clean. Mirror flop happened < 5 times in the past two years, and each time the mirror moved just twice at the first 3-5 shots (flop one more time after a normal click). Didn't happen in the past 6-7 month. Maybe just by chance (it happened very occasionally), or firmware update helped, or just because the batteries are slight different. Not sure, but it doesn't bother me.

Cosmetically, it is in very good shape as you can see from the pictures. Just a few light scratches on the bottom and the switch of the battery cover.

In short, the major improve on K5II is AF under very low light. And K5IIs does not have AA filter so you can get more details, but the price is $100 and chance of seeing moire and artificial colors. K5IIS is good for landscape and K5II is better for general propose, and K5 has much better price.[COLOR="Silver"]
