Well, I am still not getting to use this lens: It is too heavy to lug around along with three kids, and it isn't really for snapshots. Other than that, I recommend it for anyone interested in 500mm of reach. I bought it less than two years ago from wex.co.uk, authorized Pentax dealer:

Right now, I really need the cash. So, I am relisting this very nice lens, and throwing in my Pentax k7 as a free extra prize - because my k5 never fails me and I don't really need a second house.
I am not selling the k7 alone, because I need to raise £550, and selling the k7 will not achieve that. If you don't need both, you can resell one of them and make a nice margin I believe. They told me lenses keep their value well: This one is less than two years old, and I am reselling at £250 below their current price, so this is a very good deal even disregarding the k7!
The Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM lens comes with front and rear caps, hood, bag and original box. It has some slight cosmetic scratches to the barrel finish, but is optically in mint condition.
My Pentax k7 has seen some 15000 actuations. It has some paint scraped off on the corners of the metal housing and very minor scratches on the lcd-screen, but performs without problems.
