I will have to step in here. I just got a 6D to *cough* replace *cough* my cherished K5. I must say, it is an absolute world of difference. I would have purchased this one, no problems, but I really wanted to get the 24-105 that comes packaged as a kit lens, and to buy this, and the 24-105 apart would have been more expensive,Thats besides the fact. The images this thing produces are out of this world. Straight out of the camera they are breath taking. Not only that, but the built in Wi-Fi is awesome. I have never played with wifi on a camera before, so maybe all cameras do this, but the coolest thing is the ability to take out my phone, open the app, and completely control the camera to either take photos, or view them on my phone. For example we were recently at a kids park with my young daughter, the ability to take a photo in all its 20mp glory, and instantly upload to my phone and post to facebook, its awesome, especially to my "instant gratification" generation. Not only that, but it makes taking self portraits so much easier, no more running back and forth to the camera. My wife always wants to get group shots of the family, so to have to set them all up, take the photo on a 10 second timer, then run over and wait, then go back and check it, do it again... it gets exhausting. With the wifi I can turn the camera on, pull my phone out, sit with the family, get it focused where it needs to be, put the camera on a 2 second timer, and take the photo, check it instantly, and take it again. all without having to move from my spot 100 times.
Here are a few sample images I have taken, these are all straight from the camera, with only minor correction (normal RAW minor tweaks)
