Sigma 50-150F2.8 II APO EX DC

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Sigma 50-150F2.8 II APO EX DC

Asking Price
700 AUD

Item Location
Sydney (Australia)

Item Description
This lens was bought in March this year from Sigma USA as refurbished stock, however t appeared to be in brand new condition when it arrived which was not till late march as Sigma wouldnt ship it outside US, it sat at a freight forwarder for a while. All I've done with it is take some test shots to compare with DA*50-150, ultimately deciding to keep the Pentax because its a weather sealed lens. Optically, they are very close. AF on this lens is very good, my K5 needed no adjustment. I have included a test shot at 150mm wide open.

Oh man it was sitting a couple miles away from me for a while? No wonder my wallet was feeling itchy wish a $ windfall would strike, and soon.

Were you living in Portland when you purchased it?

Liveview with this lens mounted on K-01 works without any issues.

At the request of one of the inerested parties I have uploaded test shots at all marked focal lengths at 2.8 4.0 5.6 apertures at this link http://sdrv.ms/17ESygC

Oh, why, oh, why couldn't this lens have been weathersealed! Time to pull out the DA* 50-135 to do some comparison shots, me thinks.
