Up for sale is a Tamron 28mm 2.5 Adaptall lens with the highly sought after and hard to find genuine Tamron PK-A adapter. Use of this adapter ensures that the lens operates as an “A” lens and can easily be used with the auto-metering features of modern DLSRs. No need to press the “green button” to meter as with M lens. The lens is manual focus. The blades show no oil; glass shows no fungus or damage; the body is in good shape with some minor signs of wear, especially on the focus ring. Focus ring and aperture ring move smoothly with no issues. The lens has been camera tested and works fine. It comes with original Tamron front and rear caps and a Tiffen 49mm Haze filter for protection.
NOTE on the Adaptall-2 PKA adapter. These adapters are difficult to find and highly sought after because they turn the lens attached into an “A” lens rather than an “M” lens on the camera. I believe it is usable on any Tamron Adaptall lens, though you will want to verify that yourself.
