Hi, Is this the same lens as the following sold on Adorama?
Pentax SMC P-DAL 55-300mm F/4-5.8 ED Lens 21897
or some other flavor/version? How old is it approx.

it is the same as that item. The only difference from the DA is that DAL has a plastic butt.

It came with the KR kit that I bought in March 2010 and hardly use DAL55-300 since then.
