[SOLD] FS: 4 lenses and a TC (1.7x/28mm f3.5/50mm/300mm f2.8)

For the first few, let me know if I am off on price. I am just going by what ebay dictates minus a few dollars.

Everything Sold! Thanks guys, hope all that received lenses enjoy them.

:SOLD:Pentax Super-Takumar 1:1.4/50 M42 : Good shape a few tiny specs of wear, but in surprisingly good shape considering age. Glass seems good. I will throw in a Cosmos APS Auto Teleplus 2x teleconverter and both the front and rear caps. ---- $60 NOW $50 ---- + shipping + paypal fees.

I have a few spare m42 -> pentax adapters. I will sell one with the above lens for $10

:SOLD: Pentax SMC Pentax-M 1:3.5 28mm : I was amazed how sharp this little thing is wide open, but given my limiteds, I just do not use it enough. Very good shape, even has the QC passed sticker on it (says 1985). Front and rear caps included. ---- $70 ---- + shipping + paypal fees

:SOLD:
Pentax SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter : for those who do not know this will convert MF lenses to AF. Neat little thing. I ended up purchasing two at the same time, now one needs to go. Great shape, glass looks perfect. Front and rear lens caps only, no box or manual. --- $400 ---- + shipping + paypal fees.

:SOLD: Tamron 300mm 2.8 MF lens (60B). : I just purchased this, but instead decided to buy a 500mm canon L glass. My mistake, hopefully there can be another good home for this. Glass is not perfect (a few scratches, no fungus), but I doubt it is affecting image quality. Body is not perfect, some tarnish, some paint wear. Frankly it is an old lens that has been used. That being said, It will come with: Lens hood (hard to find); two drop in filter holders; 3 filters; ONE 1.4x teleconverter; rear lens cap. It will NOT come with: Front lens cap; box. --- $500 NOW $450--- + shipping + paypal fees.

EDIT -- I may have used the wrong word when I said there were scratches on the lens, so here is a better picture of the lens front element. Sorry about the quality of the photo.

The tamron is an Adaptal lens, I just purchased the adaptal to ricoh adapter from another member for $30. This will work on pentax cameras. ----$30 --- shipped

-- EDIT -- I will throw in the adapter if you purchase the Tamron + any other item (Hint: the 1.7x goes great with the Tamron).

:SOLD:
Voigtlander 125mm f2.5 Macro : I purchased this around 1 year ago from cameraquest as a spare (yes, I currently have two). Given that I am looking to buy some very expensive long glass soon, I am considering selling this. You may gather by the asking price that I am not looking forward to selling it. This is in PERFECT condition. I have never even so much as opened the box!!!! ---- $950 ---- + shipping + insurance + paypal fees

PM sent about TC.

There are three (107B, 60B, 360B) models of Tamron 300/2.8. Which one is yours?

pardon my ignorance but is the Voigtlander 125mm considered one of the best macro lenses available? That kind of price should mean its top tier right? (I dont know of any pentax macro lenses commanding that kind of $$) Does anybody know a place/thread where information is available for 3rd party lenses?

Just search this forum for that lens for comments. Those that own it would rather cut off an arm than sell it. Recently discontinued for Pentax and very hard to find. I can't comment on the price (against forum rules) but it was much higher than a Tamron 90, Pentax 100 or Sigma 105.

Photozone.de has a review of it [ Voigtlander SL 125mm f/2.5 APO-Lanthar - Test Report / Review ]

IMO it is one of the best macro lenses, if not the best. The only one that is in the same league is the zeis, which is priced even higher.

I feel bad selling my spare, let alone my primary copy. I would probably turn down an offer of 2-3x what this one sold for.

And yes, realistically the price is high, but I am 100% confident that the buyer will not have a touch of regret once he starts using it. Plus, this was probably one of the last of these lenses in new condition available within the US.

"for those who do not know this will convert MF lenses to AF" That makes no sence, but I didn't make the trip to OZ and get a brain.

It has moving elements in it, and will auto focus a lens that does not have auto focus. It is a very neat concept. I used it with the tamron 300mm, works great.

There is an aperture actuator, but no electrical contacts, so it would be more analagous to a pentax-M mount or something along those lines.
