[SOLD] FS: Tamron 28-300 LD IF 1:3.5-6.3 and Tiffen Haze 1 72MM

Forum Members,

To All, I did a little more research and it seems that what I'm asking is a little high (I got ripped off on my original purchase.) As a result of this, I think I will hang on the lens. Thanks for looking..

I have this lens but a slightly newer model - may I ask what model this is? (mine is a06, has closer focusing and 62mm filter.
So im not sure the chart above applies to this particular lens (might be for the newest a06 DI model) but it should be close.

I think this lens is a good cheap alternative to the 18-250mm DI

Silverknight,

I believe I saved it from these forums--it was marked as 28-300 no DI. If you can show its not for this lens, I'll take it down. I don't want it out there if its incorrect!
This is the Film 72mm Model
Thanks!!

John

On the popphoto review the picture of the lens is not the same as the one you have here, they have the A06 model (which is the same one I have, 28-300mm AF XR LD IF Macro)

The only difference I can gather though is that your's has a 72mm filter instead of 62mm and the focus grip looks a bit different.
I would think the optical qualities are the same though.
I was just curious as to which version was newer, thats all.

Its a great and cheap all in one lens, kept me from thinking about the 18-250mm
