Item for Sale
Vivitar 90mm TeleMacro f/2.5

Asking Price
99 EUR

Item Location
Cork (Ireland)

Item Description
Freshly back from a service, cleaned and lubricated.
Not as common as the 90 f/2.8. It has a serial beginning with 28 which signifies Komine which were one of the best of Vivitar's sub-manufacturers.

Lens is in great shape with no markings and hardly any brassing. Aperture blades are oil free and optically perfect. Ships with both caps.

Couple of shots at f/8

Couple of shots taken this afternoon at f/2.5 (handheld)

Full size samples available in my sub gallery here. Just click on a shot and select O for original.

This has the same optical foruma as the 90mm f2.8 macro (indeed, it's the same lens; Vivitar sometimes released the same lens as f2.5 and f2.8), which is different than the Series 1 90mm f2.5 macro. The S1 was also made by Tokina, not Komine, and only went to 1:2 (with an optical adaptor for corrected 1:1 shooting). Still, I've seen many excellent results from this particular optic over the years (as your samples show) and there is no question it is an excellent lens.
