It does have the Canon EG-s precision matte focusing screen installed, I also have the stock screen. If you like fast lenses this screen is amazing!!!

Hello. I am interested in the k-30 but I have a few concerns:

1. How is a Canon focusing screen installed in a Pentax camera?

2. Does the matte focusing screen affect the focus peaking feature of the k-30? I have never tried a camera with that feature before, but I have read a lot about it recently and it is the primary reason I am attracted to the k-30.
How difficult is it to replace the original screen? I am not experienced with this process aside from what I have learned from browsing the forums!

3. number of shutter actuations?

Thank you for your time!

Basically it has been custom cut to size from an original Canon ee-S screen by focusingscreen.com.
Trust me, you won't regret having the screen... Considering the K30 is priced together with the S screen, this is a very good deal!

It does not affect live view function at all, or even the metering unlike other 3rd party focusing screen.

I can put the stock screen back in it. I believe the shutter count is around 3,000. I have had it for two months.

It comes with charger, camera strap and battery.
