Never seen that -- must be a Tokina? (serial # begins with 37xxx.) I wonder if it is the same as the Tokina RMC 17/3.5...

I have the Tokina version of this lens and I really appreciate how good this lens is for a reasonable price. I also have the DA15 and I often times chose this lens over it when shooting wide. I added a rubber lens hood to mine to help with stray light and contrast, a little. Not a small lens with the hood added, the DA15 takes the cake there, anyhow enjoy your new lens.

Thanks Schmidlapper.
I did have the Tokina version until two months ago, but foolishly sold it and two other Pentax primes to fund a DA*16-50mm. I was truly gutted when i realised that the newly aquired zoom was nowhere near as good as my old prime lenses. So after licking my wounds i'm now in the process of replacing them which i suspect is going to take some time.

Those are great shots. I enjoyed looking at all of your other photos as well. If they are from near your home then you certainly live in a very beautiful place.
