(reduced price) K-30

Hey fellows,

Sine I carried my K-30 around with me a less often than I wanted to this freakingly hot Tokyo summer, I decided I am giving up.
Too much weight, too bulky, just too much of everything.
I really love the camera, but I want to change from DSLR to a small system camera.
Since I haven't gotten into the topic yet, I do not know if I will stay with Pentax, but I certainly hope so - the Ricoh GR looks quite sexy :-)

So, anyhow, that means I will be selling my K-30 and lenses.

K-30, excellent condition, white ... 400€ 350€ !
- Shutter count: 3,960
- the only damage I could find is some small scratches on the tripod mount, as usual ;-)
- comes with 3 batteries(2 shown in the picture, one in the camera), the AA battery clip, cables, a Marumi 62mm CPL filter, an adapter ring 49->62mm... see below!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hq9nam25hl5iq0s/_IGP3783-001.JPG

DA 18-135 WR, as new ...300€... 250€ ! ! SOLD !
- comes with lens hood

DA 55-300, as new ...200€ ...150€ ! ! SOLD !
- comes with lens hood

Pricing and Shipping:
- I will accept both PayPal and a direct transaction to my bank account (bank is located in Austria). Paypal fees are covered by me of course, and included in the item price
- shipment can be done from Austria (Graz) or Japan (Tokyo), depending on when you decide to buy. I am living in Tokyo but move to Austria every ~ 2 months for a business trip (e.g. next time in September 14th)
- depending on where you are living and where I can send from, I might have to ask you for additional money for the shipment. If we are living close enough to each other, consider shipment included in the listed price.
- prices are NOT FINAL, if you want more than one item or think I am asking too much, let's discuss ;-)

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
René

Since I have a lot of views but now buyers, and already feel the temptation of "hey, why not keeping the gear, and let's buy another lens".... ARGH, DAMN YOU, LBA!! ... I now decided to drop the price further.

Also, *bump*

Noooo dont sell your K-30!
Been carrying my K-r and K-30 around Asia for 3 years and I know I would miss my dslr if I had sold it.
Just save some money and buy the Ricoh GR as a back up camera

I know I will miss it! Even now, going through the pictures if somebody asks for a lens sample etc, I feel almost nostalgic, even though I only had it for such a short time. But the thing is, I never USE it anymore,... at least not as much as it deserves.
I would honestly have a bad feeling if I would only take it out for the occasional snapshot or concert etc...

This camera deserves a better owner :-)

Also, I know myself... even if it is lying around, I will still go shopping for new lenses. Damn LBA will keep me busy spending money. I have to do this.

It's kind of like coming clean *gg*
I will keep the K1000SE around though. That should satisfy LBA with much cheaper primes ;-)

---------- Post added 08-24-13 at 11:45 PM ----------

Both the lenses are sold.
Leaves the K-30 with a real nice package of goodies :-)

Cheers,
René

Since I got my Ricoh, I happened to make a picture of the K-30.
Did not consider to make it a "product picture" but rather tested the macro...
Sorry 'bout that.

René, I am located in Jenbach for a week at a time every couple of weeks on a work assignment for the rest of this year and interested in the K-30. Where are you located?

Hi Newmikey,

when in Austria, I am living and working in Graz, approx. 400km from Jenbach.
It's a beautiful little city, if you want to visit and buy a K-30 while you're there ;-)

I think post should also be no problem, maybe 10€ within Austria ..?

I know Graz quite well from previous job visits, lovely indeed! Too far to catch a train and pick up the camera though (doesn't go to say I'm not still interested!)

If post I'd just as soon have it sent home to the Netherlands, shouldn't be an issue either way.

Let me get back to you on this (unless someone else has headed me off at the pass in the meantime) because the body is for my 18-year old (Flickr: Aviva Bing (NL)'s Photostream) who "inherited" my K20D when I moved to the K-5 - she now wants to move up primarily because of the high-ISO where the K20D is failing her right now.

But, she IS 18, and therefore color and fashion seem to matter to her (yes, I know, it is weird) and I've sent her a message to find out if she's OK with white.

EDIT: update - she's not OK with white I'm afraid. Sorry to have bothered you. Discussion with an 18-year old is futile anyway... :-(

Haha, no problem.
Anyhow, tell her that she's got some great shots there!
Better than most of my stuff I am afraid -.-
You should not have told me she is only 18 instead of a really experienced long-time-photographer
